Profile
Yukio TAIRA
Founder & Principal Designer Born in Sasebo, Nagasaki. Graduate of Tama Art University, Faculty of Art and Design.
After gaining extensive experience in structural design and museum exhibitions at a leading display production company, Yukio established Yukio Taira Design Office in 1994. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the survey and research of historic buildings.
In recent years, he has contributed his expertise in 3D design to the development teams of numerous world-renowned animation-related facilities in Japan. Currently, he is pioneering new methodologies for the digital survey and archival preservation of historic architecture using cutting-edge 3D technology.
